"Alice in Wonderland" is a Disney adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic children's story of the same name. In the cartoon, Alice is a young girl with a big imagination. When she chases after a white rabbit, she finds herself falling through a rabbit hole into the magical world of Wonderland, where she meets an odd assortment of characters, including the Caterpillar and the Cheshire Cat. During her adventures, Alice manages to save Wonderland from the evil queen. Disney studios began production of "Alice in Wonderland" in 1939, and it took the studio until 1951 to finally release the cartoon.
